Rte. 25 in Brookfield Re-Opened After Crash Investigation
Police are still investigating the crash.
UPDATE: The Brookfield Police Department announced at around 10:00 p.m. Sunday that the road had been re-opened.
BROOKFIELD, CT — Police are investigating a serious crash on Rte. 25 in the area of West Whisconier and Whisconier Road in Brookfield.
Rte. 25 is expected to remained closed for "an extended period of time."

Police announced the crash at around 7 p.m. Friday
- Northbound traffic from Newtown is being turned around at Fawn Ridge.
- Southbound traffic from the center of Brookfield is being sent down West Whisconier.
