Saint Joseph School’s Pre-k 4 program offers children an inviting, safe place to explore, discover, learn and grow.The high-quality, developmentally appropriate program provides children and their families an exciting first school experience! Our goal is not only to prep students for kindergarten but to assist them in becoming self sufficient, independent and confident learners who love being in a school environment.

The full school day, along with a variety of teaching methods, accommodate how each child learns. The curriculum encompasses your child’s social/emotional, physical, cognitive and language development. We offer opportunities for children to develop and learn through self-discovery, guided exploration, and positive experiences. We encourage self-expression and awareness while emphasizing social skills, early communication and academic development at each child’s pace. Saint Joseph School’s Preschool, emphasizes pre-reading and pre-math skills, verbalization, socialization, and ourselves and how we relate to each other and our world. Children spend most of their time playing and working with materials and other children. Curriculum is adapted for those who are ahead as well as those who need additional help. Teachers recognize that children’s different backgrounds and experiences mean that they do not learn the same things at the same time in the same way.

We recognize that the responsibility of total education is built on collaboration. The Little Charger’s Staff assist in strengthening the whole person through a program which stimulates spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development.
