Saint Paul’s Annual Festival of Lessons and Carols: A Special Gift to Brookfield in the Christmas Season
By Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church (Open Post)
Saint Paul’s Church invites everyone to join us for our annual Festival of Lessons and Carols on Sunday, December 14th at 5 p.m. This is a beautiful retelling of the Christmas story through choral music. Based on a tradition dating back to 19th century England, Lessons and Carols is celebrated by Anglican churches throughout the world. Here, in our beautifully decorated stone church, you will not only hear music of the season performed by the musicians of Saint Paul’s, but you will also be welcome to join in and sing along to the tunes of your favorite carols. In addition, this year there will be a variety of new selections including an African Noel featuring traditional instruments from West Africa. What a wonderful way to begin your Christmas celebration!
