Today, October 6, 2014, Senator Rob Kane endorsed Republican candidateEric Berthel for 68th Seat

State Senator Rob Kane (R-32) today endorsed Republican Eric Berthel for the 68th District State House seat being vacated by current State Representative Sean Williams. The district includes Watertown, Oakville and part of Woodbury.
“The legislature needs more level headed Republicans like Eric Berthel who will pursue an agenda of smaller government, lower taxes and a more robust economy,” Kane said. “I know Eric will be a great partner with me in that quest.” Kane also noted that Berthel has widespread support from businesses and job creators, as evidenced by endorsements of his campaign by the Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) and the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB).
“Dan Malloy and the Democrats in Hartford have brought us some of the worst job killing legislation in the history of our state in the past few years,” Kane said. “Eric will be a taxpayer and business advocate. Like me, he is willing to make tough decisions about our budget and won’t just tell everyone what they want to hear.”
