Showers and Thunderstorms are Possible for Brookfield

The back-to-work weather forecast calls for gorgeous weather on Monday with plenty of sunshine and temps in the low to mid 80s across Connecticut.
On Tuesday, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms for the entire state during the day. For Fairfield County, showers and thunderstorms could begin after 9 a.m. The chance for stormy weather is about 40 to 50 percent.

And then things change quickly. On Wednesday, a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” has already been issued for Fairfield County for after and evening showers and thunderstorms that could produce heavy rain and flash flooding, the National Weather Service writes.
More storms are possible on Wednesday for all of Connecticut beginning on Wednesday afternoon and continuing into the evening. Again, the storm chance is around 40 to 50 percent statewide. In those areas that get storms, heavy rain is predicted.

Once we get past Wednesday, Thursday and Friday look very good with sunny skies on both days with temps around 80 degrees.
