Sophia Natural Health Celebrates Grand Opening

Alternative health center opens near southern end of Town Center District.

at 31 Old Route 7 in Brookfield recently celebrated its Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting celebration. The Center specializes in chronic conditions, women’s health issues, allergy desensitization, fibromyalgia and chronic pain relief treatment.

Owner and director Ken Hoffman explained that “Sophia Natural Health Center is a natural health clinic that uses traditional arts of Chinese Medicine combined with modern medical principles which means that the restoration of health is achieved by identifying physiologic and functional imbalances that cause disease and influencing them back into harmony.”

Hoffman is a licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Connecticut and holds natural certifications in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology.  He is a member of The American Association of Oriental Medicine, The Connecticut Society of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, The Neurologic Pain Relief Centers and The American Institute for the Advancement of Medial Thermology.
