State Rep. Harding to Host Flag Collection
Got a worn American Flag in need of retirement?
BROOKFIELD – In honor of Flag Day, Representative Stephen Harding (R-107) will be hosting a flag collection in cooperation with the VFW Bethel Post #935 and Joseph W. Tarrent, Jr. Memorial American Legion Post #100, for constituents to retire their worn American Flags.
WHEN: May 22 – June 11, 2015
WHERE: Brookfield Town Hall, 100 Pocono Road, Brookfield, CT
The U.S. Flag Code specifies that old American flags no longer in service must be properly disposed. Rep. Harding encourages all district constituents to come by and drop off flags that will be retired in an honorable manner.
