State Trooper Suspended After Car Crash In Brookfield: Report

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Connecticut State Police have suspended an officer who was involved in a car crash with a police cruiser in Brookfield on Sunday evening.

Fox61 is reporting that Sgt. Catherine Koeppel was traveling north on Route 7 at the Route 202 intersection in a state police vehicle when her cruiser rear-ended a Kia Optima traveling in the same direction. No injuries were reported.
