Study: Brookfield's 'Miracle Mile' Boosts Town's Grand List
A new study done by the News Times shows Brookfield's grand list is the fastest growing in the greater Danbury area due to new development.
Brookfield’s Federal Road area has contributed to significant growth in the town’s grand list, according to a new study done by the News Times.
From Chick-fil-A opening, to BJ’s and Costco’s new gas stations, “the miracle mile,” as Federal Road is also known by, has helped to increase the town’s commercial grand list by 3 percent. Brookfield’s residential grand list increased by more than 5 percent, according to the study.
