Tim Bouges earned his Citation for Eagle Scout at The Eagle Ceremony on Sunday, May 31st at the Brookfield Library at 2 PM. Tim earned his award as a member of BSA Troop 5 Brookfield among his of leaders, mentors, peers, friends and family. As his leaders echo, “Tim is a positive role model for teenagers - working hard and making a difference in his own life and those of others.”

His service project involved the painting and enhancing of the community room at the Brookfield Library. Tim, as a library volunteer and worker with the children’s reading program, identified a need, worked with the Library Board to develop his project, solicited funding and the workers to complete the entire job! Additionally, Tim designed a “rolling cart” to bring carpeting from the backroom storage for use at the Children’s Reading Sessions and built a picture frame for a painting in the hall. The work had to be scheduled around the many library activates – which Tim was able to accommodate. The Library Board has expressed thanks to Tim for his work.
