Town of Brookfield to Host Candlelight 9/11 Ceremony

The ceremony will be held in the Rotary Memorial Garden at the Brookfield Town Hall, 100 Pocono Road.

On Friday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. the Town of Brookfield will hold a candlelight vigil in honor of those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001 in the terrorist attacks. The ceremony will be held in the Rotary Memorial Garden at the Brookfield Town Hall, 100 Pocono Road.

After announcing plans for the service first selectman Bill Tinsley said, “Let us never forget those who lost their lives that day in a terrible act of terrorism against our nation. Coming together as a grateful community, we will offer our prayer for the safety of the first responders and military personnel who continue to protect us day by day.”
