“For more than a decade, I served as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s liaison to the FDNY. As a member of the Bipartisan Fire & EMS caucus, it’s been my honor to work on issues impacting these community volunteers,” said Foncello. “I proudly co-sponsored a bill this year, the first legislation of its kind, to remove PFAS from firefighter protective gear. I also co-sponsored a bill to waive the required Q-endorsement on drivers licenses for veterans with appropriate experience to drive a fire apparatus, making it easier for them to continue their service to their community by joining fire departments.”
Foncello, of Brookfield, is a member of the committees on Aging, Appropriations, and Education. For more information about Foncello or his platform, visit https://foncellofor107th.com/ or https://www.facebook.com/foncellofor107th/.
