Non-Drug Options for Easing Chronic Pain
Military personnel can now take advantage of SOPHIA’s Integrative Natural approach to health. Veterans enrolled in the Veterans Choice Health Program, with a referral from their VA doctor, are able to see us for acupuncture and Integrative Natural Medicine therapies.

PTSD is also successfully treated with Acupuncture, Research done in 2007 by Dr. Charles Engel, at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, said soldiers with PTSD improved more quickly with acupuncture than usual treatment.
