We Care 5K Will Benefit Two Brookfield Families
Donna DeFreitas, diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer, and Jeff Moxham, recently paralyzed, will be the beneficiaries of the funds raised.

BROOKFIELD, CT — The We Care 5k is being planned to raise funds to donate to two Brookfield families.
Donna DeFreitas was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. Jeff Moxham who was severely injured when an industrial door feel on him, paralyzing him from the waist down. Both of the families will have mounting medical and travel expenses.
Runners and walkers are invited to the race which starts and end at Brookfield High School on Sunday, April 24 at 9 a.m. Registration will open at 7:45 a.m. on race day and the run will begin promptly at 9 a.m. Click here for a registration form.
Mail application to Woodbridge Running Company, 632 Federal Road, Brookfield, CT 06804, with a check payable to "Woodbridge Running."
The fee is $20 if pre-registration is postmarked by April 20. After April 20 the fee is $25. T-shirts will be guaranteed to all who register on or before April 20.
