Mark and Lyn Lyon attended the Brookfield Lions summer meeting at the Lakeside Community Center to express their thanks and gratitude for the support Mark received from them in his quest for International Director of Lions International. He was elected to serve as International Director of Lions Clubs International at the association’s 101st International Convention, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, June 29 through July 3, 2018. The Lions Clubs International Board of Directors is composed of 34 international directors. Together they serve the association by supervising all officers, committees of the board and association, managing association business, property and funds and preparing and approving the association’s fiscal year budget. International Directors serve for two years. To add in the celebration, Mark and Lyn brought a cake to the meeting for all to enjoy.
