A new list compiled by Niche.com ranks the top 100 school districts in Connecticut. See where Brookfield falls on the list.

Niche.com has amassed its top 100 school districts in Connecticut list for 2016.

The results are based on a variety of metrics, including test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, teacher quality, reviews by students and staff, SAT scores and much more.

Specific grades were assigned to such categories as: academics, extracurricular, resources and facilities, teachers, and even food.

The top 10 reveals seven of the top rated school districts are located in Fairfield County and the other three are from Hartford County.
