CANTON, CT — Firefighters responded to a reported structure fire at the 121 Dowd apartment complex after dispatchers received multiple 911 calls reporting a working fire, according to the Town of Canton Fire and EMS Department. Canton police officers and fire crews arrived at the scene and found a kitchen fire contained to the apartment's kitchen area.Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control, officials said. One occupant was evaluated at the scene by Canton EMS for non-life-threatening burns.
