1st TCBY/Avon Chamber Summer Sundae a success
Avon Chamber members offer information about their businesses to the community at an event filled with food, fun and festivities.
On a sunny afternoon July 20, several area residents attended the 1st Annual TCBY/Avon Chamber Summer Sundae on Ensign Drive in Avon. More than 30 chamber members participated by setting up booths and providing information about their businesses. Food vendors, including Bertucci’s, sold their wares and food competitions challenged contestants. Avon Prime Meats sponsored a hot dog decorating contest, TCBY a yogurt eating contest and Taste by Spellbound a cupcake eating contest. Biker’s Edge offered BMX biking demonstrations, ACROfitness students performed routines, and members of the Valley Classic Car Club brought their vehicles. The event was a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Avon-Canton.
