5 Must-Know 2016-2017 School Dates In Canton
Classes begin in Canton in less than three weeks.
CANTON, CT — It seems as though summer has only been with us for a few weeks, but it is already time to prepare to go back to school in Canton.
Here are five important dates to note on the 2016-17 Canton Public Schools calendar:
- Aug. 30, 2016 - first day of classes for students
- Dec. 26, 2016 through Jan. 2, 2017 - winter break
- Feb. 20-21, 2017 - Presidents Day weekend
- Apr. 10-14, 2017 - April break
- June 21, 2017 - last scheduled day of classes
