Affordable Housing Topic Of Canton Forum

It will take place Monday, Sept. 11, at the Canton Public Library.

CANTON, CT — The Town of Canton Monday, Sept. 11, is hosting a special forum to delve into the elusive issue of affordable housing during increasingly unaffordable times.

It will be conducting an "Affordable Housing Informational Forum" at the Canton Public Library, 40 Dyer Ave., Canton at 7 p.m.

The program will look into various aspects of affordable housing and it will feature experts "explaining Connecticut's affordable housing law; the difference between affordable housing and low-income housing; and what authority town land-use boards do and do not have" regarding the issue.
