After Storms, Free Brush Disposal For Residents: Canton

Canton was one of the harder-hit towns in the area during two recent spates of severe weather.

CANTON, CT — One of the more harder-hit towns during the recent spate of severe thunderstorms is Canton, with local officials throwing folks a hand as they clean up their yards.

Canton leaders Tuesday announced that, through much of July, there will be free brush drop-off for Canton residents at the local transfer station, 202 Ramp Road, Canton.

The town has waived all costs and requirements for permit/fees for brush only from July 2-27.

This is for Canton residents only and proof of residency is required. No commercial vehicles are allowed.
