CANTON/FARMINGTON, CT — Shake Shack will open its newest Connecticut restaurant at The Shops at Farmington Valley in Canton on Wednesday, July 22, marking the chain's 10th location in the state, and help feed the needy in Farmington.

The restaurant, located at 110 Albany Turnpike, will begin serving customers at 10 a.m. and will operate daily from 10 a.m. to midnight.

As part of the grand opening, Shake Shack will donate $1 for every sandwich sold on opening day to the Farmington Food Pantry, supporting the organization's mission of providing food and household essentials to local families.

The opening-day celebration will include outdoor picnic seating, Shake Shack-branded games, a raffle and a DJ from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The first guests through the doors will also receive custom Shake Shack promotional items while supplies last.

Customers will be able to order at in-store kiosks or directly with team members for grab-and-go service.

The Canton location joins Shake Shack restaurants in Stamford, Darien, Westport, Danbury, New Haven, Shops at Stone Bridge (Cheshire), Newington, West Hartford, and Evergreen Walk (South Windsor).

In addition to its signature menu of made-to-order Angus beef burgers, crispy chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, and hand-spun milkshakes, the Canton restaurant will offer the chain's current limited-time menu items.

Those include the West Coast-inspired burgers featuring caramelized onions, secret sauce, and avocado, along with the return of the Big Shack burger.

The opening-day fundraiser is part of Shake Shack's "Stand for Something Good" community initiative, with proceeds benefiting the Farmington Food Pantry, which has served local families for more than 30 years.
