Holding Company Among Six New Businesses Registered In Canton In July

CANTON, CT — Six new businesses registered with the state in Canton in July, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. The most unusual entry was Acrobatic Ventures LLC, which registered under the holding companies category at 59 Garrett Road on July 25.

The rest of the month's filings were straightforward: two landscaping companies, Michael Lane, LLC and Clement Lawn Care LLC, joined a third, Goodwin Enterprises LLC, while The Findery of Collinsville, Inc. and Larsen Hardware 3 LLC registered as a used merchandise retailer and a hardware store, respectively.

State registration marks when a business files paperwork with the Secretary of the State, not necessarily when it opens to customers, so some of these ventures may not yet be operating at the addresses listed.
