Applicants must provide proof of Canton residency and/or attendance at Canton schools, according to the program application.
School supplies are scheduled to be distributed by appointment from Tuesday, Aug. 11, through Thursday, Aug. 13.
The application lists an Aug. 3 return deadline, but the town subsequently said in a social media post that there is "still time to apply."
Families seeking assistance should complete the application and return it to Canton Social & Community Services. The form also asks applicants for household information and whether the parent, guardian, or child is enrolled in certain assistance programs.
