• Canton Fire Department Adds New Safety, Water Rescue Equipment (patch.com) — Canton residents will see enhanced fire and water rescue protection as the town's Fire & EMS Department rolls out new safety gear funded by the Canton Community Health Fund. The upgrades include a Pack Tracker system to better monitor firefighters' air packs, a specialized ventilation saw, and new water rescue ropes to strengthen response along the Farmington River.
