Canton Zoning Board Lists Action On Secret Lake Road Stop-Work Appeal

Canton's Zoning Board of Appeals is scheduled to consider a stop-work order appeal for 44 Secret Lake Road on Monday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m., according to the town's agenda. Dennis McDonald, identified as the applicant and property owner, is appealing an order issued by the zoning enforcement officer Tuesday, Aug. 25.

The town's earlier legal notice advertises a public hearing on the appeal during the meeting. However, the later agenda lists no public hearing and places the case, File 2026-03, under public hearing action. The documents do not explain the difference or describe the work covered by the order.
