Bear Enters Home in Canton
The bear reportedly entered a woman's bedroom and moved a piece of furniture before departing the house.

CANTON, CT — An untagged bear made its way into a Canton home Monday morning, frightening but not injuring a woman who was sleeping at the time.
NBC Connecticut reported the incident took place around 7 a.m. on East Hill Road. The woman said the bear entered via a screen door and moved a dresser in her bedroom before heading into the kitchen and finally leaving the house.
Police tracked the bear into a nearby wooded area.
