Beloved Canton Farmers Market Opens For Season Sunday, June 9

CANTON, CT — A highly anticipated part of the local calendar opens for the season on Sunday, June 9, in the form of the Canton Main Street Farmers Market.

The seasonal market, which operates every Sunday from June 9 to Oct. 20 in historic Collinsville, will start at 10 a.m.

It is hosted by Canton Main Street, a local "non-profit organization that partners with residents, businesses, government, religious congregations, and civic groups to enhance the cultural, economic, environmental and social vitality of Canton’s villages and commercial centers."

Located In the heart of Collinsville's Main Street, the market showcases fresh, local food.

"Products change as the season progresses from early summer to fall. Music and natural beauty – including our resident bald eagles – make this market a weekly destination for hundreds of food fans," wrote Canton Main Street on its website.
