Ben and Jerry's Free Cone Day in Canton

It's hard to settle on a place for lunch or dinner, but dessert today is going to be very easy.

April 12 is Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry's. The deal runs from noon to 8 p.m.

Our local Ben & Jerry's is at The Shoppes at Farmington Valley, 110 Albany Turnpike in Canton.

"Since 1979, it’s our way to celebrate and say thanks to our awesome fans for another year of support," the ice cream giant said in a statement. "And we've kept it up every year since, spreading the peace, love and free ice cream around the world!"

When you're there you may want to try one of their scoop-shop exclusive flavors. Ben & Jerry's recently listed their 10 favorites:
