Black Bear Destroys Car In Canton
The animal somehow managed to slip into the unlocked vehicle and caused considerable destruction to the interior before being freed.
CANTON, CT — A bear managed to nose its way into a parked car at a Canton home Friday night, causing considerable damage to the vehicle's interior before scampering off upon police opening a door.
According to NBC Connecticut, Linda Morad was house sitting for a vacationing friend when she noticed her car's lights going off. Upon hearing noises from inside her car, she called police.
Officers opened a car door and a full-sized black bear jumped out and ran into a wooded area nearby, leaving a path of destruction inside the vehicle.
