Blumenthal To Meet With Canton Seniors This Week
U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal will be at the Canton Senior Center Thursday morning.
CANTON, CT — The Canton Senior Center Thursday is hosting a U.S. senator and folks are invited to RSVP to let the center know they are coming.
U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., will be at the senior center multi-purpose room on Thursday, Aug. 31, at 9:30 a.m. for a program on the needs of seniors.
"Please join us to hear what Sen. Blumenthal has been working on to help Connecticut's senior citizens," wrote the Canton Senior Center in an announcement.

Those interested in attending should RSVP the senior center at 860-693-5811. Light refreshments will be available. The Canton Senior Center is at 40 Dyer Ave., Canton.
