Players Ages 8-17
Valley Sports Center is proud to welcome Bobby Valentine to Canton for a one-day baseball clinic open to boys and girls ages 8-17. The clinic will focus on the physical and mental fundamentals of the game. Hitting, Pitching, Throwing, Catching and Base Running will be covered. Players will be grouped according to age and ability to maximize their clinic experience. Each group will move through skill stations throughout the day.

In addition to the on-field instruction, Coach Valentine will impart some of his wisdom, philosophies of the game and vast baseball knowledge in a discussion that will be priceless for the players and entertaining for the parents. *All parents will be invited and encouraged to attend this portion of the schedule.

- Connecticut Native
- Major League Player from 1969-1979 with the Dodgers, Angels, Padres, Mets and Mariners
- Major League Manager with Texas Rangers, NY Mets and Boston Red Sox (16 seasons)
- Managed the Chiba Lotte Marines of Nippon Pro Ball in Japan (7 seasons)
- ESPN Analyst for Sunday Night Baseball
- Currently Athletic Director at Sacred Heart University

**Players should wear indoor gym clothes and sneakers (NO cleats). Bring glove, bat and helmet if you have one.
