Every puppy deserves a chance, and New England Puppy Rescue (NEPR) is making that possible with the opening of its new Canton facility. Located in the former Dogology Canton building- Dogology has moved to Avon, the space has been transformed into a rescue center built with one mission: saving lives.

NEPR has always been rooted in its foster-based model, but this facility marks an exciting new chapter. With on-site veterinary care, dedicated adoption rooms, and spaces for housing and community events, the rescue can now expand its reach while continuing to rely on its dedicated foster families.

“Our mission has always been to save the most vulnerable puppies and set the standard for what responsible rescue can look like,” said Marissa Squires, Founder of New England Puppy Rescue. “This new facility allows us to expand that mission, build stronger connections with the community, and make sure more puppies have the chance to find their forever homes.”

The rescue is currently in the middle of a major fundraiser to complete renovations on the new facility to be completed in September. To celebrate this milestone with the community, NEPR will also host a Facility Launch Party on September 27 in Canton, inviting supporters, adopters, and volunteers to see the space and meet the puppies their efforts have saved.

The rescue also plans to host ongoing Puppy Fix Fundraisers and events, , inviting the community to be part of these life-changing stories.
For now, puppy viewings and adoptions are by appointment only. Supporters are encouraged to visit NEPR’s website for updates on adoption opportunities, volunteer openings, and upcoming fundraising events.
