CANTON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Curry College, Milton MA

• Curry College is proud to announce that Daniel Delos of Canton has been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.30 GPA, have no incompletes, and have no grade lower than a "C" for the semester.

University of Scranton, Scranton PA

• Nahyun Kang of Canton was among more than 890 bachelor's and associate's degrees at its undergraduate commencement on May 27 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre. Kang earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry, cell, molecular biology.

University of Vermont, Burlington VT

• Some 3,055 students were awarded degrees during the University of Vermont's 217th commencement ceremonies. Alexander Nemerov, alumnus and one of the nations' leading art historians and scholar of cultural history, delivered the address. Graduates from Canton were Jake Barter, Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering; Wyatt Campbell, Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering; and Evan Moreau, Bachelor of Science, Environmental Engineering.
