CANTON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Coastal Carolina University, Conway SC

• Nathan Christopher, of Canton, a marketing major, has made the President's List at Coastal Carolina University for the fall 2017 semester. To qualify for the President's List for high academic achievement, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average and must be enrolled full time.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

• Jessica Lyons of Collinsville was recently named to Emmanuel College's Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Four students from Canton have been named to the fall 2017 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester. Local honorees are Margaret Bidwell, Brett Frank, Chloe Gucciardi and Thomas Turon.
