College of Saint Rose, Albany NY

• The College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y., is pleased to announce that Abigail Sevigny of Canton has been named to the Dean's List for fall 2017.

Ithaca College, Ithaca NY

• Ithaca College congratulates four students from Canton named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. Toria Miller, a Clinical Health Studies major, was named to the Dean's List in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. Hope Hiza, an Exercise Science major, was named to the Dean's List in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. Terrence Brophy, an Exercise Science major, was named to the Dean's List in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. Will Carlson, a Television-Radio major, was named to the Dean's List in the Roy H. Park School of Communications.

Miami University, Oxford OH

• Gabe Ortiz Celemin was named to the Miami University fall 2017 president's list and dean's list. Ortiz Celemin, from Canton, is earning a B.S. in Kinesiology & Health, Bachelor of Arts majoring in Public Health, Premedical Studies, Microbiology. Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for first semester 2017-18 have been named to the president's list recognizing academic excellence. Students who are ranked in the top twenty percent of undergraduate students within their division for first semester 2017-2018 have been named to the dean's list recognizing academic performance.

Muhlenberg College, Allentown PA

• Muhlenberg College students with a term GPA of 3.50 or higher were recognized for their academic achievement and named to the Dean's List for fall 2017. Canton students receiving this recognition include Emma Charron and Emily Mitchell.

Samford University, Birmingham AL

• Beth A. Finn of Collinsville graduated from Samford University during recent commencement exercises. Finn earned a M.S. in Nursing from Ida Moffett School of Nursing.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Springfield College has named a pair of Canton students to the dean's list for academic excellence for the fall 2017 term: Emma Ciccarillo and Lindsay LaClair. Criteria for selection to the dean's list requires that the student must have a minimum semester grade point average of 3.500 for the semester.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following students from Canton have been named to the Dean's List for fall 2017: Avery Buehler, Maxwell McLean, Kyle Murphy, Natalie Olmstead, Gabrielle Rose, Gabriella Savino and Christina Titarenko of Canton.
