CANTON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Goodwin College, East Hartford CT

• Canton resident Jane Rose has achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average at Goodwin College for the fall 2017 session, earning a spot on the elite President's List. To qualify for the President's List, a student must be enrolled in at least six credits at Goodwin College and earn perfect marks in all classes.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Five students at the Rochester Institute of Technology who reside in Canton made the Dean's List for the fall semester. They are Gianna Cassetta, who is in the biomedical sciences program; Walter Dylag, who is in the civil engineering technology program; Deryk Parsons, who is in the chemical engineering program; Joseph Stallmeyer, who is in the new media design program; and Dustin Van Kirk, who is in the chemical engineering program. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Daniel Edgren graduated from Western New England University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration / Sport Management on February 15, 2018.
