Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• A number of Eastern students were recently honored at the Environmental Earth Science (EES) Department's annual awards ceremony. Awards were bestowed upon students who excelled in research or academic excellence. Alexia Bohnenkamper of Collinsville won the Geographic Information Systems (GPS) Award.

Wheaton College, Wheaton IL

• Wheaton College student Emily Guersch of Collinsville performed in the spring 2017 Symphony Orchestra Concert. Guersch played clarinet. The Wheaton College Conservatory of Music provides students with comprehensive instruction that cultivates creativity, proficiency, and achievement in a Christ-centered environment.
