Champlain College, Burlington VT

• Jeremy Paiva of Canton has been named to the Champlain College Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester. Students on the Dean's List have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the semester. Paiva is majoring in Broadcast Media Production.

Clemson University, Clemson SC

• Francis Mark Amoroso, Jr. of Canton graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Amoroso was among more than 3,400 students who received degrees in the four May 11 and 12 commencement ceremonies at Littlejohn Coliseum.

Curry College, Milton MA

• Melissa Shaulis of Canton received a Bachelor of Science degree on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Commencement ceremony in Milton, Massachusetts.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University's annual graduation ceremony was held at the XL Center in Hartford on May 16, with more than 12,000 family members and friends cheering on their sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, as 1,180 undergraduates and 58 graduate students received their diplomas. Steven McFetridge of Canton graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Emerson College, Boston MA

• Emily Barger, a resident of Canton, has been named to the Emerson College Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester. Barger is majoring in Film Production. The requirement to make Emerson's Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.

Keene State College, Keene NH

• 1,245 students have been named to the spring 2017 dean's list at Keene State College, including Aleksander Balsewicz and Emily Jarka of Canton.

Marist College, Poughkeepsie NY

• Sarah Allen of Canton received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Marist College the weekend of May 19.

Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove PA

• Amanda Curvino, of Canton, graduated with a BS in Business Administration as Susquehanna University closed its 159th academic year with annual commencement exercises on May 17. A 2013 graduate of Canton High School, Curvino is the daughter of Ed and Barbara Curvino.
