CANTON, CT — The local library is hosting an event Thursday night to help voters get to know the folks they may elect to serve them this November.

The "Meet the Candidates" event will allow voters to get to know the people who may be representing them in local government.

The Canton Public Library will be hosting the forum on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. in Room F of the Canton Community Center, 40 Dyer Ave., Canton.

All candidates appearing on the ballot for November’s municipal election have been invited to participate.

The free forum is open to all and no registration is required to attend.
