Canton Alters Tuesday School Schedule

CANTON, CT — A prediction of icy weather conditions for Tuesday afternoon has prompted school officials in Canton to follow the early dismissal schedule.

Avon and Simsbury Public Schools will also follow early dismissal schedules.

Rain and snow, mixed with freezing rain and sleet, is expected from early afternoon until 10 p.m., then rain and freezing rain from 10 p.m. until midnight.
