Both authors are looking forward to this opportunity to share with others that the pit is real- but not to be feared.
"We are two people standing on the other side of our struggles who want to give hope to the those who are struggling. We are not trying to impose our path onto others but share our paths as a light in the darkness. We hope to take the shame and stigma off of mental health and have an open, honest discussion with others; encouraging those who are in the rut to hold onto hope and trust peace exists," says George.
Authors assure participants, "If you are interested in coming but are hesitant because of the stigma around mental health this will be a safe place to ask questions where you will be met with love, not judgement, kindness, not criticism, and encouragement, not expectation."
