Canton Cops Pulling Out Stops To Collect Toys

CANTON, CT — It's a big weekend coming up for holiday toy drives all over, with Canton no different.

The Canton Police Department is hosting "Stuff-A-Cruiser" events at three locations in town on Saturday, Dec. 2.

Police will be on standby from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to collect new, unwrapped toys to go to local children in need.

There will be three locations:

• Ocean State Job Lot, 133 River Road, Canton.

• ShopRite, 110 Albany Turnpike, Canton.

• 110 Grill, 110 Albany Turnpike Suite 700, Canton.

Also involved is the Canton Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Canton Senior & Social Services.
