The dog park is closed until further notice until the fence is repaired and the area is deemed safe.

CANTON, CT — A tree crashed down at the Canton Dog Park Monday amid high winds, damaging a fence and forcing the park's closure.

According to Canton officials, the park — located at 79 Commerce Drive, Canton — was closed on Monday "until further notice" as a result of the incident.

Officials said the tree damaged part of the park's fence that keeps the dogs within the enclosure.
