Canton Election 2015 Results: First Selectman Race Winner Revealed
The retirement of First Selectman Richard Barlow meant two challengers facing off for the town's top seat.

Canton Board of Education chair Leslee Hill will soon be moving into a new seat.
The Republican garnered about 56 percent of the vote to win the town’s first selectman position over Democratic Town Chairman Thomas Sevigny.
Unofficial totals showed Hill with 1,218 votes to 955 for Sevigny.

She will take over the post being vacated by Richard Barlow, who announced in July he is retiring from politics after eight years as the top Canton official.
Official vote totals will be available later Tuesday night.
