Canton FD Gets Early Christmas Present

CANTON, CT — The holiday season still has several weeks left, but the Canton Fire & EMS Department has already enjoyed a good Christmas.

That's because Christmas came early for them, courtesy of New Britain-based Stanley Black & Decker.

The well-known tool company provided the CFD with an "incredibly generous surprise donation of various DeWalt power tools and hand tools."

"These tools will be put to great use," wrote Canton fire officials Tuesday in a social media post thanking the tool giant.

The department posted an image of the tools, which take up the whole front bumper of one of the CFD's truck.
