Canton Food Bank To Benefit From Simsbury Stop & Shop
$1 for every 'Bloomin' 4 Good' flower bouquet purchased in February at Simsbury's Stop & Shop will benefit the Canton Food Bank.
CANTON/SIMSBURY, CT — A shopping trip to the Simsbury Stop & Shop supermarket next month could benefit the Canton Food Bank if you purchase the right bouquet of flowers.
The Canton Senior & Social Services Department said Wednesday that the Canton Food Bank was announced as the recipient of the Stop & Shop 'Bloomin' 4 Good' program.
What that means is that for anyone who purchases a special flower bouquet at Stop & Shop, 498 Bushy Hill Road, Simsbury, $1 will go toward the Canton Food Bank.

The bouquet is marked 'Bloomin' 4 Good' and it costs $10.99.
"The more bouquets sold, the more we can raise," wrote the department in an announcement Wednesday.
