Canton Goes All-In For Organ Donations

Town officials Monday flew the 'Donate Life' flag to promote organ donations.

CANTON, CT — During a time of political tension nationally that's affecting which types of flags fly on municipal property in state and national communities, Canton flew a flag Monday that should draw no political ire from anyone.

Monday morning, the Town of Canton proudly flew the "Donate Life Flag" on Canton's town green.

The flag was put up to honor April being "Donate Life Month" and is designed to promote folks to sign up to be organ, eye or tissue donors — and, possibly, save a life in the future.
