Canton High School Captures NCCC Wrestling Championship

CANTON, CT — The host school captured the team title and four individual weight classes at the NCCC wrestling championships Saturday at Canton High School.

The Warriors compiled 166 points to easily outdistance runnerup East Windsor, which had 113.5.

Cooper Fleming of Granby Memorial was selected Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament, while Nathan Lawson of Stafford took honors for most pins in least amount of time (three pins in 3:23).
