Canton High School Employees Honored as Heroes
Two staff members helped save a student's life last fall.
A pair of Canton High School staff members have been honored by the American Red Cross for their role in saving a student’s life last fall, the Hartford Courant reported.
School nurse Diane Sodaro and technology specialist Andy Buckle used a defibrillator and performed CPR on an unconscious student whose heart had stopped beating in the lunchroom in Sept. 2014.
The student they saved is now back at the school.
